491 Hearings: Pre-trial Procedures for the Admission of Children's Hearsay Statements

Come join us as Judge Roither provides an overview of the necessary pre-trial procedures to secure the potential admission of children's hearsay statements in criminal matters, juvenile court matters, and child orders of protection hearings where the child is a victim of or a witness to the alleged conduct.

Our speaker is the Honorable David A. Roither. Since 2018, he has served as an Associate Circuit Judge in the 22nd Judicial Circuit in the City of St. Louis. Prior to serving on the bench, he was a partner at the law firm of Medler & Roither, LLC, practicing primarily in the areas of family and juvenile law. He was a frequently appointed Guardian ad Litem for abused and neglected children in St. Louis County, the City of St. Louis and St. Charles County circuit courts.
