Our speaker is Hal Goldsmith, Esq.  He serves as Senior Litigation Counsel for the United States Attorney’s Office in St. Louis, Missouri.  In addition to his supervisory responsibilities, Hal handles investigations and prosecutions of public corruption and major fraud matters. 

Hal has served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Miami (1990-1995), East St. Louis (1998-2006), and St. Louis (2006-2015; 2018 to current). He has served in various leadership positions, including Chief of the Criminal Division, Senior Litigation Counsel, and White Collar Chief. He has successfully tried numerous cases, and briefed and argued a significant number of appeals before the Eleventh, Seventh, and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
