This program will provide lawyers with an overview of key issues in the area of elder law, with a focus on Medicaid for the elderly in Missouri. It is suitable for those with all levels of experience.
Fee: $25 for non-members of the Law Library Association. Free for Library Members and students and faculty at Saint Louis University School of Law.
Our speaker is Christine A. Gilsinan. Christine has over 25 years of experience as an attorney practicing in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration. She has expanded her practice over time to include a focus on elder law (long term care planning, asset preservation, public benefits for the elderly). She is the author of West Publishing Company's Missouri's Elder Law. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is a Certified Elder Law Attorney. Christine has served as a Board member of the Missouri Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is a former Co-Chair of the Elder Law Committee of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. She is a frequent presenter on the topics of elder law and estate planning issues.
