Employment Law Update: Is some degree of discrimination or retaliation tolerated under Title VII and the Missouri Human Right Act?

This program will present a discussion of recent substantive law under Title VII and the Missouri Human Rights Act as well as trends in statutory construction. A related case, Muldrow v. City of St. Louis, is now before the Supreme Court and is set to be argued in December 2023.

Our presenter is Ferne Wolf, Esq. of Silverstein Wolf. Ferne Wolf has been practicing employment law for more than forty years, from her time at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission through her work in private practice. She has received many awards and honors, including the Missouri Lawyers Media ICON Award and the Missouri Lawyers Weekly Attorney of the Year Award, and is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.  She has chaired the Labor and Employment Law Committee and Section Council for both Missouri and Illinois and volunteers for both bars as a speaker on many employment-related topics.
