NOVEMBER PROGRAM: The Rise and Possible Fall of McDonnell Douglas v. Green under State and Federal Law

This CLE will cover one of the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark employment decisions which still sparks controversy: McDonnell Douglas Corp. v. Green. Topics will include the history of McDonnell Douglas under federal and Missouri law, recent criticism in federal decisions, and the effect a change in McDonnell Douglas could have on the Missouri Human Rights Act.

Our presenter is Ferne Wolf, Esq. Ferne Wolf has been practicing employment law for more than forty years, from her time at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission through her work in private practice. She has received many awards and honors, including the Missouri Lawyers Media ICON Award and the Missouri Lawyers Weekly Attorney of the Year Award, and is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.  She has chaired the Labor and Employment Law Committee and Section Council for both Missouri and Illinois and volunteers for both bars as a speaker on many employment-related topics.
