Estate Planning: Basics, Update and the Role of Emotion in Estate Planning

This program will focus on different aspects of estate planning law and practice. Topics will include the basic parts of an estate plan and estate planning you can do without an attorney, some updates in the law and practical considerations in estate planning.

Our presenter is Alexandra Johnson, Esq. of AJ Legal Services, LLC. 

Attorney Johnson’s law practice focuses on estate planning; both professionally and personally, she has seen first-hand how a good estate plan can help families and business owners navigate through issues such as dementia and other loss of competence, as well as the devastating problems that can arise when no plans are in place. Additionally, her training in this area includes programs provided by the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis, BAMSL, Office of the United States Trustee – Bankruptcy, and the Missouri Bar.

She has presented on the topic of Estate Planning in many venues and for many different types of audiences, including attorneys. She also has a long history of public service, including sitting on several area non-profit boards.
