September 2, 2025 through March 10, 2026
Conceived by the Honorable Nicole Colbert-Botchway, a Law Library Association of St. Louis Board member, the Judicial Legacy Project is a program that involves interviewing retired judges and jurists in our 22nd Judicial Circuit. Also included are remembrance videos about judges in our region who are no longer with us.
Many of the judges profiled were among the first women and members of the African American community to serve in this role. Their reflections and insights are preserved through this project. Video highlights of their remarks are available for all to view and learn from on our website. Find out more at https://llastl.org/judicial-legacy-project.
Thanks to a grant from the St. Louis Bar Foundation, the Law Library Association will be creating an in-person exhibit highlighting eight of the judges previously interviewed for the Judicial Legacy Project.
The judges to be profiled are:
Evelyn Baker
Clyde Cahill
Anne-Marie Clarke
Mary Kay Hoff
Margaret Neill
Booker Shaw
Richard Teitelman
Lisa Van Amburg
The exhibit opens on Tuesday September 2, 2025. The exhibit is free and open to the public during normal business hours, M-F 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Watch this page for more information about our opening event and additional programming.
