On Wednesday October 23, 2023, our Library Director, Gail Wechsler, was recognized by the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) as a “Pro Bono Champion” for her commitment to pro bono legal services and the Law Library Association of St. Louis's creation of "A Guide to Representing Yourself in Court." She also was keynote speaker at the event at which the award was given, called the 2025 Pro Bono Challenge. Many thanks to BAMSL and its Pro Bono Committee for this honor.
